Tim's practice includes income tax planning and research, mergers and acquisitions, commercial real estate transactions and tax saving techniques related to exports. He also has experience in general corporate law and choice of entity formation and organization. Before joining Gomel & Davis, Tim was Income Tax Manager and Assistant Vice-President with Bank South. He started his professional career with the accounting firm of Laventhol & Horwath, where he attained the level of Senior Tax Specialist. Tim received his B.S., Cum Laude, from the University of Connecticut, where he was a member of Beta Alpha Psi, and his J.D. from Georgia State University. He has been a speaker at an FSC Planning and Compliance conference presented by the FSC/DISC Tax Association, Inc., and at the 1999 Annual Meeting of the Forest Products Society. Tim was also a featured speaker at a seminar entitled Reducing the Worldwide Corporate Effective Tax Rate presented by the Council for International Tax Education. Tim is a member of the Georgia and Atlanta Bar Associations and the Georgia Society of CPAs.
